How do I properly dispose of a damaged American Flag?

Dickinson Township acquired a flag disposal container through the Marine Corps League. The container is located by the main entrance to the Township building. Please feel free to stop by anytime to deposit your worn, weathered American Flag for proper disposal by the Marine Corps League.

How do I properly dispose of old paint?

If the paint is water based, you can add non-clumping cat litter or old newspapers to absorb any remaining paint. If the paint is oil based, you will need to contact Cumberland County Solid Waste Authority at 717-240-6489 for further instructions.

Where do I get a recycling bin?

Recycling bins are available at the Township Building and are free of charge.  If you are unable to pick up a bin during regular buiness hours, contact Advanced Disposal to make arrangements for a driver to bring a bin during your regularly scheduled pick-up.
